Creating OSINT Resources

Creating OSINT Resources

For personal use and sharing with the community

I enjoy vibe-coding new tools and resources. Sometimes it's just creating a simple dashboard that allows me to more easily access things and save time. Any solution that helps me increase productivity is worth the investment to me. The best personal tools often start that way — a quick experiment that solves an immediate annoyance and slowly becomes something you actually rely on every day.

In the world of OSINT, there are so many Start.me pages and resources that it can be very overwhelming. There is also the fact that OSINT tools and resources change frequently, so many of the things you find may be outdated and no longer working. On top of that, when you rely on someone else's curated page, you're dependent on their platform staying alive and their motivation to keep maintaining it. That's a lot of trust to put in something you have no control over.

For this reason, I enjoy curating and organizing my own resources. I recently created a dashboard full of relevant OSINT tools that I update regularly. Because I built it myself, I know exactly where everything is and can change it on the fly without waiting on anyone else's update cycle. Currently, I'm just hosting this simple static HTML page on my Fastmail "websites" page. It's fast to deploy, no extra overhead, and gets the job done while I'm still iterating on what I want the final product to look like. My plan is to continue refining this solution so that it serves as my "go-to" page for tools and resources I need quickly.

Curating, creating and updating your resources should be an ongoing process. There's also a side benefit that doesn't get talked about enough — maintaining your own list keeps you sharper. You revisit tools, notice what's gone dead, discover what's new, and stay more engaged with the space than you ever would just bookmarking a static list someone else put together.

What have you been vibe-coding? I would like to hear about your projects!
