OSINT Academy Week 3

This week was like drinking from a fire hose! Reading through the book "OSINT Techniques" by Michael Bazzell was amazing! The amount of search techniques covered was incredible!
At first, I thought about using a note-taking app to capture some of the great resources I was learning, but I quickly realized there were far too many. Since I have the PDF version of the book, it will serve as a giant reference for me.
Search Engines
I learned about many different search engines and how each can be used for specific searches. Some less-known search engines may provide you with a nugget of information that allows you a new pivot point.
Here are just a few search engines and resources I was unaware of prior to this weeks training:

Usernames
This topic focuses on how a consistent username can be a valuable asset in OSINT investigations. I learned how a specific username, might be found across various personal websites and hosting platforms.
People Search Engines
I learned about the identification and utilization of various online people search engines, as well as the types of information these search engines can reveal. I learned strategies for using different search parameters and filters to narrow down results and find a specific person of interest. I also learned that not all people search engines are created equal, there are pros and cons of various options in terms of data accuracy and cost.
Overall, this was another great week of training, and I am looking forward to Week 4!
