Week 4 OSINT Academy
This week, I focused on learning the proper construction of URLs for various social media platforms. Gaining the ability to manually build these URLs allows for more advanced navigation and access within the platforms—going beyond the limitations of their default search features.
We focused on the following platforms:
- TikTok
- Some lesser-know communities
I also discovered some valuable tools this week—one that enables downloading Instagram profiles and stories without needing to log in, and another that provides access to a version of the TweetDeck platform without requiring a premium X account. Additionally, I explored various techniques for manually constructing URLs to uncover additional content, including deleted posts.
This course has already provided a wealth of valuable insights—not just in terms of tools, but also in understanding the underlying processes. I'm learning the importance of conducting searches manually and not relying solely on automated tools for support.
