OSINT Job Tracker

OSINT Job Tracker

Utilizing AI to help locate my next great opportunity

Not having a job is very tough for me. I have been working since I was 14 years old and come from a family with very strong work ethics. I honestly don't know how people can say they are content with being unemployed, it stresses me out.

On a positive note, I have had some time to help work on the farm where my wife will soon be teaching dozens of homeschool children about gardening, animals, stewardship and good work ethics. I get excited when I think about how much these children are going to thrive when the micro-school opens at the end of summer.

The days here in Northwest Florida are getting longer, and hotter! We are trying to get as much done as possible while I am still looking for my next great job opportunity.

Sifting through job sites is a daunting task and a bit overwhelming. I wanted to find a better way to filter out a lot of the jobs that didn't fit me personally, such as jobs that required security clearance.

I began with the routines feature in Claude code. I set a few parameters and instructed it to search against several of the top job sites. I also instructed it to send the output to Notion in a table view. I thought this would be a great way for me to hopefully find a new job. This is the OSINT Job Tracker

After posting that I had lost my job, I had several people reach out to me to offer support and some that were searching for jobs themselves. I decided that I would share this job search tool with others, in hopes that it may help them also. I enjoy sharing things with others that may help them become more successful.

I also shared the Github repo so, that others may tweak the search parameters, keywords and jobs boards to meet their specific needs.

If you have found this project useful, I would love to hear from you. If you have suggestions, let me know.
